Free use and membership
The App is free to use — shooting, negative conversion and grading are unlimited; free exports are watermarked 1080p JPEGs. New users also receive 5 complimentary full-quality exports (original resolution, no watermark, all formats) with no time limit — one credit per exported photo; once they are used up, free exports remain watermarked 1080p JPEGs. A membership unlocks full export (original resolution, no watermark, all formats including TIFF) and the advanced features. Three plans are offered on the membership page: a "Monthly subscription" (auto-renewing), an "Annual subscription" (auto-renewing, cheaper than paying monthly) and a "Lifetime membership" (one-time purchase, no renewal). The prices shown in the App apply.
How do I restore a purchase on a new phone?
On the membership page, tap "Restore Purchases" and sign in with the original Apple ID to restore your membership — no need to pay again.
How do I cancel the subscription?
Go to iPhone Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions, select Crazy Film, and turn off auto-renewal. The lifetime membership does not renew.
Which devices are supported?
iPhones running iOS 17.0 or later. Metering, live negative, and copying use the camera, so a physical device is recommended.
Is the development timer accurate?
The Develop Timer offers reference times compiled from manufacturers’ public data, with temperature / push estimates—for reference only. Always follow the official instructions of the chemicals you use. Development is an irreversible chemical process involving hazardous chemicals; handle protection and waste disposal yourself. See Section 7 of the User Agreement.
Are my photos uploaded?
No. Metering, conversion, grading, and export all happen on your device; the App uploads no photos.
How do I uninstall the App?
On the Home Screen, press and hold the "Crazy Film" icon, then choose "Remove App → Delete App." Purchased membership is tied to your Apple ID; after reinstalling, tap "Restore Purchases" on the membership page to recover it.
How do I request a refund?
In-app purchases are handled by Apple, so refunds are requested from Apple too. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with the Apple ID used for the purchase, find the Crazy Film purchase, choose "Request a refund," and submit your reason. Apple decides whether to grant it.
